Clear outer sight comes from clear inner sight. Only the clear-sighted man sees, feels and touches the Infinite. Man perceives the subtler reality when he closes his eyes. When a sage approaches the altar, he closes his eyes and shuts his ears to the outer world, so that his inner perception may come more alive.
