The laws of the Universe must not be broken. Whoever gives also receives, and more than he gives. To the tight-fisted, however, scarcely a drop trickles down. The inveterate giver does not stint his help even when he himself is in want. He is like a dried-up river: only the pebbly bed can be seen, yet one need only dig a little hole, and at once water springs up. Whoever does good shares even his few pennies, and generosity is nothing less than a divine trait.
